Cuts of a City is a series presented by Maison Pavone. Through the hands of students at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, the city becomes a surface to be torn, layered, and reassembled. Each fragment carrying its own memory, each composition revealing a different Istanbul.

The works in this series are hand-cut collages on cardboard, each an original edition of one. Brought together under a single curatorial vision, they offer an intimate and unfiltered portrait of a city seen through the eyes of those still learning to truly look at it.
